Small Group Communities

One of our highest values at The Gathering is experiencing life as a community. In a culture that worships individuality, this has driven many to loneliness and artificial friendships. We believe that life transformation and learning about God happens best in community, and throughout the Bible we see the blessings of healthy, Christ-seeking communities...
THIS IS WHAT WE STRIVE TO BE!!

So, with that said, we have small group communities that take place in homes, at the church building, in local restaurants, and even outdoors (in summer). We eat together, pray regularly, socialize, study the Bible, eat together more, play (paintball, Barbies, and poker), and then eat a little more. If you are part of one of these groups, send Andy (Lead Pastor of The Gathering) a picture of your group. More information about groups can be found on the church's web page (http://www.rainierview.org/).

The Thanksgiving Potluck 2007

Check out some pictures from The Gathering this last week. We ate some awesome grub, worshipped God as a community (Thanks Band for leading us), were taught by Pastor Roger, and had a great time connecting. Thanks to all of you who helped out.

Join us throughout the holiday season for worship, teaching, prayer, connecting with others, etc. Invite your friends and if you have any questions related to The Gathering, Rainier View Christian Church, or a spiritual issue, contact the church office (www.rainierview.org).
